Steven Fishman

Steven Fishman has over thirty-five years of experience in providing tax, trust and estate, accounting, and business advisory services specializing in working with high net worth individuals and their closely-held businesses, primarily in the real estate field. In addition, Mr. Fishman’s practice includes manufacturing, distribution, and other service businesses.

Mr. Fishman graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in June 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts with a degree in Economics and received his CPA certificate in December of 1980. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Steven specializes in real estate and high net worth tax planning, private foundations, trust & estate, and multi-generational wealth transfer planning and estate administration, private real estate fund formation and structure planning, and financial planning for complex transactions and issues, which require financial analysis, creative solutions, strategic planning, and sensitive interpersonal interaction. Mr. Fishman has been with Fishman, Block + Diamond, LLP for over thirty-five years and began his career at Kenneth Leventhal & Company (now part of the real estate group at Ernst & Young).

Mr. Fishman is very active in the Los Angeles community serving as a Past President, and on the board and chair of the HR committee of Stephen Wise Temple, chair of the local executive committee, and National Council member of AIPAC, very active in the pro Israel political network and Super PAC, board member, and on the finance, campaign, strategic planning and distribution committees of the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles, immediate past chair and current member of the Los Angeles Birthright Israel Leadership Council, board of the Impact Forum, board of Wise Readers to Leaders (a summer teen literacy program), national board of governors of Hebrew Union College, national board of ELNET, active supporter of JINSA, and a trustee of the Washington Institute.

Mr. Fishman was nominated in 2008 as one of the top 25 CPAs by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
