Eric Corriveau has over seventeen years of public accounting experience in the areas of taxation, audit and review, forensic accounting, insolvency and litigation support. Eric works closely with individual and corporate clients in the multi-family and commercial real estate, professional services, manufacturing, entertainment and production industries. Eric also has significant litigation, insolvency, and forensic accounting experience serving trustees, attorneys, and debtors in all matters of bankruptcy and litigation.
In his capacity as Principal, Eric provides professional consulting services and assists businesses with operations management and accounting procedures, tax planning and reporting, preparation of review and audit reports, and resolution of IRS and other government agency disputes.
Eric has specialized experience in trust and probate accounting, including preparation of accountings for complex trusts with assets that include operating businesses, multi-family rental and commercial properties, managed investment accounts, and other sophisticated investments from a few million to hundreds of millions of dollars in value. He has also provided certified continuing professional education to accountants and attorneys on Trust and Probate Estate matters.
Eric’s experience in matters of forensic accounting, insolvency and litigation support includes reconstruction of books and records, tracing of funds to identify assets for recovery, fraudulent conveyance, liquidation and insolvency analyses, preparation of evidentiary accounting schedules and reports, and other investigative and analytical procedures.
Eric Corriveau graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. He is a member of various national and international honor societies, including Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma. Eric is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
