Theresa Haney

Theresa A. Haney has over twenty-five years of experience in providing tax services for high net worth individuals and privately held businesses in the real estate, entertainment, manufacturing, distribution, health care, and service industries.

Ms. Haney’s involvement in the tax field includes tax planning, preparation, and the review of Federal, California, local, and multi-state taxes of individuals, partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies, and non-profit organizations. She also consults in the area of estate planning, including the preparation of estate, gifts, and fiduciary tax returns. Ms. Haney enjoys the sensitive interpersonal interaction that these areas require.

Ms. Haney routinely and successfully represents the firm’s clients in tax controversy issues with the Internal Revenue Service, California Franchise Tax Board, local and out-of-state taxing authorities.

Ms. Haney joined Fishman, Block + Diamond, LLP in June of 1990.

Ms. Haney graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. She received her CPA certificate in May of 1989. Ms. Haney is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Ms. Haney has been active in her community and is currently involved in various fundraising and charitable activities affiliated with St. Jude Catholic Community in Westlake Village, CA.
