New Individual Income Tax Return – Engagement Letter, Tax Organizer and Document Request Procedure

Your 2024 individual tax return engagement letter, tax organizer and document information request will be delivered electronically via email through the SafeSend Gather system. This is an AI-powered solution that is safe, secure, and encrypted, designed to assist you in automating the completion of your personalized tax organizer, and allows you to return the organizer, signed engagement letter and all the requested tax documents in an encrypted electronic form. The organizer will look identical to what you are used to receiving and will have your prior year data included.

You can also use this system to track any missing items.

We have summarized below the steps involved and what you should expect to receive from us.

  1. You will be receiving an email from Fishman Block + Diamond by Cerity Partners at noreply@safesendreturns.com. The email will have a link for you to click on to download the organizer, engagement letter and document request. Be sure to add this email to your safe list to prevent it from being categorized as spam or junk. This email will be sent February 3rd, 2025.
  2. If you do not see an email from Fishman Block + Diamond by Cerity Partners at noreply@safesendreturns.com, please check your Spam or Junk Folder.
  3. For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome/Edge/Firefox.
  4. No username and/or password are required to access the link in the email you will receive. After clicking on the link, you will receive an email with an access code.
  5. Please save a copy of the email noreply@safesendreturns.com to access the link, or bookmark the link, to provide additional data. Each time you click on the link you will be provided with a new access code either via email or text.
  6. After electronically signing the engagement letter you will see the organizer which you will be able to fill out, and then the list of the requested documents. Please be sure to answer all questions in the organizer and provide backup copies of all requested documents to insure the most accurate result as well as improving the efficiency of preparing your returns.
  7. You can click and drag the files into the space provided in the organizer and the AI feature will match the documents automatically with the requested items. After you have finished uploading all the requested documents you may close the “gather request” program.
